UN'OASI NELLE LANGHE
Why Mamota?
More than twenty years ago my parents (Silvia and Fabrizio) decided to make a change in their lives, leaving the beloved Turin, to move to what was the house still partly inhabited by my grandmother.
The house is a country farmhouse located in Vesime, a small and delightful village in the Alta Langa Astigiana in
province of Asti, between Langhe and Monferrato, a few steps from the wonders of the places declared Unesco Heritage.
In fantasizing about their future they already saw their children growing up in this place surrounded by nature
and away from the busy city life. Destiny was probably already sealed because in the middle of the move, my mother had confirmation that my brother Stefano would soon be born.
The works to transform the old barn and the farmhouse proceeded at a rapid pace and little by little a dream was coming true.
In the meantime I (Marta) was also peeping into my family's life.
One day, in May 2019, when my 20th birthday is completed, during a Sunday lunch with the whole family, I propose one of my projects: "Why not share this corner of paradise, where we are lucky enough to live, with other people who can appreciate it in the right way? "
Dad, mom and my brother were immediately enthusiastic about my idea and from there, without any second thoughts, the project of a Bed & Breakfast started.
Thus was born "MAMOTA B&B".
Why MAMOTA? Because in our family it is the tender way in which mothers are called.
MAMOTA is "an Oasis in the Langhe" and we want to convey this feeling to our guests too, because when you come to us (just like when you cross a desert you arrive in an oasis) you will find everything you need to regenerate yourself.
MAMOTA is simplicity, hospitality, peace, nature, plants, flowers, birdsong, sounds, the discreet tinkling of our harp, good food, guaranteed rest, tranquility, discretion and availability.
Those who come to us must think of a place where you feel good, you can relax, even with walks and excursions in unspoiled nature, surrounded by landscapes that have partly maintained their original conformation with dense woods, vineyards, meadows and hazel.
My family and I always welcome guests with a big smile, like friends, doing our best to make them feel at ease, like at home, accompanying them with discretion during their stay, always trying to convey to them the love for this wonderful land that is the Langa
